Embrace Fitness in Antigua was a 3 day weekend hosted by Sugar Ridge Resort.   A wide variety of classes including yoga, zumba, kick boxing and water aerobics along with fitness adventures involving hikes and a fun run packed the weekend.

The featured speaker was Dr. Janet Taylor, certified Touch for Health instructor, who offered two one hour presentations focusing on Applied Kinesiology.  The first hour presentation looked at avoiding and releasing muscle cramps with self-help hands-on techniques.  The second presentation emphasized  lifestyle changes, muscle performance and decreasing muscle pain.  Over 25 people attended the presentations.

Not only were the presentations  designed to help the participants but also encourage them to take a one day class THE TOP TEN PAIN RELEASERS taught by Dr. Taylor and slated for Saturday, May 4th.  Dr. Taylor has taught the class 2 times in 2012 on Antigua.  The one day workshop teaches students ten techniques to reduce pain, stress and tension.

Dr. Taylor also gave private consultations to 21 people who received a muscle scan (SEMG) with her state-of-the-art chiropractic equipment called the Insight Millennium.  The scan showed areas of nerve disturbance to various muscles and allowed those having the scan viable solutions to their problems.
